Justin Rose wins in USA at last

The crop of young British golfing talent continues to shin as Justin Rose records his firs major win. Justin Rose won the Memorial Tournament at Muirhead Village, Ohio, USA. Playing the 162nd event of his PGA Tour career, Rose came from four behind Rickie Fowler to triumph by three with a magnificent closing 66, the low round of the day, and 18 under par total of 270. Commenators who has followed Rose career said he play the finest game of golf he has ever played in his life to win.

The win at Ohio makes Rose the third European to win in the USA this season after his Ryder Cup partner Ian Poulter’s success at the WGC-Accenture Match Play and Rory McIlroy’s Quail Hollow Championship victory.

The win help Rose move from 66th to 33rd in the world rankings, and a rise from 27th to eighth on the European Ryder Cup world points list.
