Callaway Big Bertha Driver
July 8, 2011

Big Bertha is almost 20 years old, and it is one of the most successful golf accessories ever. Though, due to its shape (a large head made 100% from stainless steel), when it was first sold, Big Bertha Callaway was considered to be a very modern driver, that wasn’t quite appreciated by all the golfers.
When Big Bertha FT Fussion appeared, it has rapidly got a name among the pro golfers. For example, Phil Mickelson used it in the competitions somewhere in the beginning of the 2000’s. Big Bertha FT Fussion was preferred due to its weight, and that is because the driver was about 25% lighter than the others.
One of the latest models, Big Bertha 460, is one of the biggest drivers ever created. In fact, the driver is almost illegal since its measures are somewhere near the maximum allowed sizes. Moreover, Big Bertha 460 has a flat crown and a shallow face (and therefore, its center of gravity is much lower than the regular position of the regular golf clubs), fact that allows the users to shoot on big distance, with a high degree of accuracy.
